excellent very comfortable bed, great roof terrace with views over a gaudi building. very clean hotel and very helpful attentive staff. good value and location would go back again. There are 2 parts to the hotel opposite each other not known what difference between the two are.

Location

Small lobby and reception area, one desk clerk, area very crowded with cruise (Celebrity) travellers. For the $$$ paid I would avoid the crowds in

If you are not in the mood to go out, the hotel offers you plenty of activites such as swimming, gym, sauna, movies...and if you wana see the city the hotel gives you and excellent informations, books and guide to look around. That is what i like the best.

One of the bars on the pool was not working.

The Pool, the Jacuzzi and Air-con were all essential with temperatures at 35C. Location - room was pleasent but not a "Classic" as expected but it did overlook Gaudi's Casa Mila (Pedrera) so all is forgiven. Monchos Tapas Bar & Restaurant 2 doors away was an added bonus with excellent food and staff - no need for the expensive hotel breakfast!

A great location, short walk to two Gaudi houses in Eixample. Just a 20 minute walk to Gothic Quarter. Beautiful hotel, great room, good view, right on the Passeig de Gracia. We stayed for eight nights and the hotel was nice enough to upgrade our room. Lot's of amenities.

I wanted to get insiders advice on restaurants from the front desk, but instead got recommendations to the usual touristy places. We got too busy to use the pool but went to have a look at the pool in our building (there are two). It is big enough for a soak but not if you wanted to swim laps.

Staff were always so helpful & professional. Great location. Room was very comfortable with luxurious towels & cosmetics.

Our main reason for choosing this hotel was the outdoor pool shown in the photographs. However, this is not the hotel pool. The actual hotel pool is much smaller - basically a large jacuzzi. The pool photographed is presumably the pool of the hotel with the same name across the road. We asked could we use that pool but were told "No way!". Most disappointing since a pool was a priority for us.
